BlacKkKlansman - Film Review
I think they're taking Star Wars in a new direction. BlacKkKlansman is directed by Spike Lee and stars John David Washington, Adam Driver, Laura Harrier, and Topher Grace. Plot Ron Stallworth (John David Washington), an African-American police officer from Colorado, successfully manages to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan with the help of a white surrogate, who eventually becomes head of the local branch. Review BlacKkKlansman is actually pretty great. It's got some great social commentary on racism and it's pretty entertaining in some parts. When I saw the trailer, I didn't know if it was going to be a comedy or not, because it showed some of the entertaining moments, and looked like a throwback to the old Blaxploitation movies of the 1970's, but it's actually a drama, and a really good one at that.
